Membership

	01.	In October 2002, the Sri Lanka Jewellery Manufacturing Exporters Association, the Sri Lanka Lapidarists and Exporters Association, and the Sri Lanka Jewellers and Gem Merchants Federation merged with the Sri Lanka Gem Traders Association and founded the Sri Lanka Gem & Jewellery Association.
	02.	Present membership stands at 344 and 75% of the Sri Lanka gem and jewellery exports are through SLGJA members
	03.	Membership constitutes of corporate members representing the entire value chain of the industry
	04.	The Association maintains close ties with the All Island Gem Dealers and Miners Association based in Ratnapura and Beruwela.

Requirement

01.	Print a copy of the application form from the website or collect from office [2^nd floor, 38 Frankfurt Place, Colombo 4].
02.	Furnish a copy of your business registration.
03.	Furnish a copy of your registration / licence issued by the NGJA.
04.	Furnish a copy of your NIC [person who signs form].
05.	A current member must propose the application.
06.	A current member must second the applicatiom
07.	Submit documents duly filled to the office and await executive committee decision
